When mentioned Turkish Cuisine, people often related it to kebab and regarded as a quick and cheap meal after a night out drinking.  This misrepresentation often projecting kebab restaurants and takeaways in an unjust image. However, changing the misconception about a wrong image require some fundamental changes in quality control, staff training and clever marketing, it isn’t something you can achieve overnight.  The good sign is, many restaurants and takeaways already created trends for others to follow.

Culinary tradition with far reaching roots
Turkish cuisine is the refinement of a heritage with far reaching roots.  Influenced by Middle Eastern, Central Asia and Balkan cuisines, created a vast array of specialities  with strong regional associations. This culinary tradition, have been assimilated and adapted over many centuries  by other Mediterranean countries and made famous as their own such as  pizzas - pide,  tapas - mezes.

There are few cuisines in the world can match Turkish cuisine, where ingredients are used in such diverse way, to create wholesome dishes to reflect their regional characteristics, quality of local produce, colour, fragrant and skill of the chefs.
